  • Use the proofreading feature for you broadcasts
  • Review a broadcast before sending it to all recipients

Overview

Proofreading is a feature allowing you to submit a broadcast for approval before sending it to all recipients. This is particularly useful if, for instance, you want to make sure your comments are up-to-date before sending you weekly report to your top management.

Setting up the proofreading feature

On the broadcast page, you may now find at the bottom right corner the following:

When the broadcast is sent, the proofreader will receive the broadcast preview with the following header:

Approving the draft

Clicking on "Click here to choose what to do" will bring you to the broadcast page on Reeport.

A window will appear to let you choose if you agree to send the broadcast to the recipients (Send as it is) or cancel the sending (Do not sent):

As a result, you may do any of the following:

  • If you do nothing when you receive the draft for approval, then the broadcast will not be sent this time but you will continue to receive the draft for approval for the upcoming broadcast (the next day if the frequency is set to "daily", the next week if it is set to "weekly, etc.).
  • If you click the "Send as it is" button, your broadcast will be sent as it is to all the default recipients.
  • If you click the "Do not send" button, your broadcast will not be sent be sent this time but you will continue to receive the draft for approval for the upcoming broadcast (the next day if the frequency is set to "daily", the next week if it is set to "weekly, etc.).
  • If you click the "Do not send" button, make changes to your broadcast and click "Send broadcast now", then your broadcast will be sent to all selected recipients with the modifications you've made.
