What's Included in This Platform Update?
This article provides an overview of our latest product enhancements and answers common questions about this update (in addition to our FAQ Guide). At the bottom of this article, you can find our full product release notes.
Individual Executive Function (EF) Component Scores
In addition to the overall EF score, you'll now see individual EF component scores.
These scores provide a more detailed view of a child's executive function profile and can help identify specific areas of strength and growth.
The available component scores include:
Working Memory
Inhibitory Control
Cognitive Flexibility
Instead of relying solely on a single overall score, educators can now better understand which executive function skills may benefit from additional support and instruction.
Improved Dashboards and Reports
We've refreshed the dashboard and reporting experience to make it easier to find, understand, and act on information.
Improvements include:
Clearer data summaries
Updated visualizations
Improved navigation
Enhanced report layouts
These updates are designed to help users access key information more quickly and confidently.

Updated 2026 Norms
EFgo now uses updated normative reference data based on a larger and more recent sample of more than:
100,000 children
5,000 adults
This expanded reference population provides a more current benchmark for interpreting results. As a result, some existing percentile rankings or score interpretations may appear slightly different than before. This is expected and does not indicate a change in a child's actual performance. Instead, scores are now being compared against a more current and representative reference population.
Enhanced Data Security
We've implemented additional safeguards to strengthen privacy protections throughout the platform, including improvements to:
Personally identifiable information (PII) handling
Data masking
Role-based access controls
These updates help ensure that users have access only to the information appropriate for their role.
