Clothing care and sustainability

Extend clothing life and reduce environmental impact with smart tips

Updated over 6 months ago

Nothing is worse than not taking good care of your new gear. That's why we've listed a few handy tips for you to keep your favorite workout outfit in top condition.

1. Read the care label

It seems simple, but reading the care label first will help you avoid mistakes during washing, drying or ironing. Make sure you understand the symbols to properly care for your clothes!

2. Wash your clothes inside out

Sweat, dead skin cells and bacteria accumulate mainly on the inside of your clothes. This can cause your clothes to smell stronger. Washing your clothes inside out cleans them more thoroughly.

3. Wash at low or cold temperatures

Washing at high temperatures wastes a lot of energy. Save that energy for your next personal record and wash your (winter) sportswear at 30°C or lower whenever possible.

Pro tip: This also applies to our accessories. If you wash our accessories in hot water or in the washing machine (or maybe dishwasher), they can deform, logos and pads can come off or fade as a result. Therefore, wash them only by hand in cool water for best results!

4. Avoid the dryer

The heat of the dryer can shorten the life of your gear. Air dry your clothes whenever possible to keep the elasticity, logos and prints looking great for longer. It will also save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to a better environment.
