REISift + Gmail Integration: Setup and Usage Guide

The REISift + Gmail Integration allows you to connect multiple gmail accounts so you can easily email contacts directly within your REISift account. Send and receive emails from leads with ease and keep all your communications in one place.

Setting Up Gmail Integration

  1. Navigate to Integrations:

    • Select Settings from the left sidebar.

    • Click on the Integrations tab

    • Select the Gmail Integration option

    • Click Connect with Google

  2. Choose your Gmail Account & Allow Acces

    • Select the Gmail account you want to connect.

    • Click Continue to share your email information with REISift.

    • Select Allow to grant REISift access to the Gmail account.

Note: This Gmail Integration is intended for following up with your leads—not for mass prospecting or "cold emailing."


Managing Your Gmail Integration

This section covers how to reconnect accounts, add multiple accounts, set a preferred email address, and disconnect or unlink accounts.

Reconnecting an Account

Gmail integration sessions will expire if the integration is not used for 6 months or more. If your session expires, you will receive a notification with an option to reconnect. To reconnect, select Relink Gmail Account under Settings -> Integrations -> Gmail.

Connecting Multiple Accounts

You can connect more than one Gmail account to your REISift account. To add an additional account, click Connect with Google again and select the next email account you wish to integrate.

Setting a Preferred Account

The first email added will default to the preferred email address. The preferred account will automatically be used when sending emails.

To change your preferred email, click the star icon next to the email address you want to designate.

Disconnecting an Account

To remove or delete a gmail account, select unlink account under the Settings -> Integrations -> Gmail section of your REISift account and click Unlink Gmail Account.


Sending and Receiving Emails

Emails can be sent within each property record, owner record, SiftLine card, or contact in the 1:1 communication box.

If you've connected to multiple Gmail accounts, the email will be sent from your preferred Gmail account. To send from another connected email, use the drop-down menu next to From when composing your email. You can view and manage your email preferences under Settings -> Integrations -> Gmail.

If you have a signature set up in your Gmail account, it will automatically appear on all emails sent through your REISift account.

When you receive an email from a contact, it will automatically appear in your REISift account.

All email events are logged and tracked within the Activity Log on each record. To filter by email activity, select Email Events from the dropdown menu within the Activity Log.

To help manage your contact emails, you can mark an email as Correct and/or Verified.

  • Correct should be used for any valid email address associated with the owner, their relatives, or known associates.

  • Preferred or Verified is intended for the primary or preferred email address used for communication with the owner.

To mark an email address as correct email, select the checkmark to the right of the email address:

Troubleshooting

My email account says it needs to reconnect.

This is normal, with gmail integrations they must be reconnected each 6 months or after periods of inactivity. If your account needs to be reconnected you will receive a notification with a link to reconnect. If you didn't select to reconnect through the notification, you can do so by going to the Settings -> Integrations -> Gmail section in your REISift account and selecting to refresh.

Emails are sending from the wrong connected account.

Emails will automatically be sent from the preferred account. To update the preferred account, go to Settings -> Integrations -> Gmail and click the star icon next to the email you want to send from.
