How to add, assign to customers and manage product users in Rekonnect

Updated over 7 months ago

In Rekonnect, Product Users are the end users who interact with the training and product information provided through the platform. They are typically healthcare professionals, customer staff, distributor employees, or internal team members who need access to specific Products and Trainings. Product Users have limited access — focused solely on consuming the assigned learning material and resources — without administrative responsibilities.

Q: Who is a Product User in Rekonnect?
A: A Product User is an individual who consumes training and product materials provided through Rekonnect. They can view assigned Products, Trainings, Courses, and Documents but do not have any administrative privileges.

Q: What can Product Users access?
A: Product Users can:

  • View assigned Products and Trainings

  • Complete self-study Courses

  • Participate in teacher-led training sessions (if invited)

  • Provide feedback on content

  • Submit support issues (if enabled)

Q: What can Product Users NOT do?
A: Product Users cannot:

  • Create, edit, or delete any content (Products, Trainings, Courses)

  • Manage users or user groups

  • Approve or publish content

  • Access the administrative interface

Q: How do Product Users receive access to Products and Trainings?
A: Product Users gain access when an Administrator (Owner, Market, or Customer Admin) assigns them to specific Products or to a User Group linked to Products and Trainings.

Q: Is user progress tracked for Product Users?
A: Yes. For self-study training, Rekonnect automatically tracks a Product User’s course completion, last page visited, and overall progress percentage.

Q: Can Product Users belong to multiple User Groups?
A: Yes. A Product User can be part of multiple User Groups under a Customer or Internal Organization, which allows them to access different sets of Products and Trainings based on their group memberships.

Q: Can Product Users interact with Community Boards?
A: If enabled, yes. Product Users can participate in Community Boards — posting messages, sharing files, and collaborating with other users within their assigned communities.

Q: How is user security handled for Product Users?
A: Product Users can update their profiles, passwords, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security, ensuring their access remains secure and personal.
