Note: We are using the WP code plugin; however, you can insert Relevic's script using any plugin of your choosing.
Integrating the Relevic personalization script into your WordPress site allows for dynamic content personalization based on visitor data, improving user engagement and conversion rates. Follow these steps to seamlessly add the script and begin personalizing your site.
Step 1: Accessing and Copying the Relevic Personalization Script
To begin, you need to copy the personalization script from Relevic:
Log in or Sign Up: Access the Relevic dashboard by logging in or signing up if you’re a new user.
Enter Your Website Name: In the Get Started section, complete the first step of specifying your website name and then proceed to "Install the Relevic Script."
Copy the Personalization Script: Copy the script provided in this section. This script will be used to integrate Relevic with your WordPress site.
This script is critical for enabling personalized experiences on your WordPress website.
Step 2: Log in to the WP Code Plugin
Log in to WordPress: Access your WordPress admin area by logging in with your credentials.
Step 3: Locate the Header File (header.php)
Locate Code Snippets: On the left-hand side of your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Code Snippets and select the Header & Footer. This is where your site's HTML
<head>section is stored.
Step 4: Paste the Relevic Script in the Header
Insert the Script: Inside the Header box, paste the Relevic.
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Click Save Changes: Once you've pasted the script, click Save Changes to save your newly pasted script.
Verify: Head back to the Relevic dashboard, proceed to Step 3 of the Get Started section, paste the page address, and click "Verify" to ensure that the script is applied to your website.
