If you know someone who would benefit from better note-taking or knowledge organization, you can send them a personalized invitation to RemNote containing your referral link (containing a unique ID for your account). If they sign up for RemNote using this referral link and start using it, both of you will earn a free month of RemNote Pro!

Free months can only be applied towards RemNote Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly). They cannot be used to purchase the AI plan, additional AI credits, lifetime Life-Long Learner licenses, or any other products RemNote might offer.

There are three ways to send an invitation. All of them can be found in Settings > Invite. (The purple bar at the top will only appear once you've earned at least one free month, so don't worry if you don't see it there yet.)

You can copy your referral link directly from the “Your invite link” box and paste it into an email or text message you write yourself or add it to a social media post.

You can type your friend’s email address into the Send invites box and click the Send button. This will send them a preformatted email (including your referral link) that invites them to start using RemNote.

Once you have successfully referred a new user, both your accounts will be credited for one free month of RemNote Pro.

To prevent abuse, a complete referral requires both of you to verify your email addresses by clicking on the link we send you. (If you've lost the initial email, you'll find a link to resend the verification email in Settings > Invite.) If you're not seeing free month appear for a referral, please check this first – 90% of apparently missing free months are due to unverified email addresses.

To redeem free months, you need to sign up for a RemNote Pro account and provide a payment method. Free months of Pro are always applied before your payment method on file is charged, so if you have enough free months to cover the subscription duration you choose, you won’t be charged at all.

If you already have an active RemNote Pro subscription when you earn a free month of Pro, you don’t need to do anything: your free month will be applied before charging your payment method the next time your subscription renews.

In Settings > Plans, choose the plan you want to switch to (in this case, monthly or yearly RemNote Pro.

Click the Subscribe button. You’ll be asked to enter payment information. If the number of free months you've earned covers the subscription you choose, you will see a $0 charge (if you see a larger charge than you expect, check whether you accidentally selected an annual subscription when you wanted a monthly one). Then you’ll be upgraded!

You can cancel and switch back to the free version from Settings > Plans whenever you want (see frequently asked questions). If financial concerns are holding you back, don’t forget that RemNote offers student discounts and local pricing discounts.
