Curious why the VPN Status is "VPN Connecting..." on your iPhone?

Don't worry - that means that the REMOJO blocker/filter is set up and working correctly. Your blocker / filter settings will be applied and the connection is established.

So, why does it show as "VPN Connecting..."?

This is simply due to a quirk in how we set up our filter, and how iOS displays that information.

Without going into too much technical detail, we are not setting up a full-VPN connection, which means that we don’t tunnel user data and traffic to our servers. We set up a connection to our own servers that applies your blocking level filters to the URLs that you visit, but once you are using a site or app, all data transfer and activity takes place through your own regular WiFi or cellular data connection.

It's simpler for us and more private for you.
