How to hire someone safely

Firstly, thanks for your interest in hiring a displaced person!

As you know, members of our community are often in a vulnerable situation.

As such, we need to take additional precautions to ensure that:

=> They are paid fairly and legally

=> When the role is in-person, they stay safe

You can support this process by providing the candidate with:

  1. Your organisation's registration number, so they can check it against official records.

  2. A contract offer detailing their rate of pay and any other legal requirements in your country. One great option is using a free Employer of Record

If you are unable to provide these, we recommend to our candidates that they do not proceed with your job offer.
