5) What if I want to invest my DAF assets in a separately managed account?
a. For accounts with a market value of $3 Million or more, individual stock, and bond portfolios may be utilized.
6) How do I open an account?
a. Go to the following URL, and select, Individual Application under the “Become a Donor” section (https://bnycharitable.org/bny/AboutBNYCharitable/tabid/689/Default.aspx) fill out the application, and send to the address at the bottom of the form.

8) How long have BNY and Ren been working together?
a. BNY has been a client of Ren (Formerly Stellar Technology Solutions) since 2013 (12 years). Starting in November of 2021 BNY took advantage of Stellar’s BPO services for grant vetting/due diligence, payments and mailing of letters. At the end of 2024 BNY made the decision to collapse the BNY Charitable Gift fund 501c3 entity, and granted all assets to Renaissance Charitable Foundation, who leverages Ren for all administrative processing and support.

Private Label Organizations for BNY:
DAF fund holders for each private label have 2 separate DAF accounts. 1 discretionary DAF account and 1 designated DAF account that is set to have the balance distributed out to the private label at the time of the donors death.
