The Push Notifications page (Marketing menu) lets you send a message straight to your recipients' phones: your customers through your app, or your team through the XPRIO app. It is the perfect tool to announce a weekend offer, a new product, or to let your drivers know about a schedule change.
The composer reads from top to bottom, in three steps: audience, message, sending. A live preview shows the notification exactly as it will appear on a phone.
1. Choose the audience
My customers sends through your app. A customer receives the notification if they installed your app and allowed notifications: all of this is checked automatically, there is nothing for you to filter.
All: every reachable customer. If you run several stores, you can limit the send to one store: the notification then goes to customers who picked it as their favorite store.
Specific customers: you pick recipients one by one, with handy filters (search, minimum number of orders, sign-up date, customers active or inactive since a date). Perfect to reward regulars or win back customers who stopped ordering.
My team sends to your staff on the XPRIO app: the whole team, only drivers or only managers, with a store filter. For drivers and managers you can also target specific members.
2. Write the message
A title (40 characters max) and a message (150 max): deliberate limits, because phones truncate anything longer. The counters under each field guide you, and the emoji button opens a searchable library, great for a title that catches the eye.
The text is delivered as is to every recipient: write it in your customers' language. The preview updates as you type.
3. Send or schedule
Now goes out right after you confirm. Schedule lets you pick a date and time, in the store's local time, down to the minute. If your stores span several time zones, the page offers a reference zone: the send happens at the same instant everywhere.
Built-in safeguards
A few rules apply automatically, to protect your customers and your brand:
Customer quota: 2 campaigns per day and per store.
Team quota: 10 campaigns per day.
Night window: no sends to customers during the night (the exact window is shown on the page, in the store's local time). Your team is not affected.
The gauge at the bottom of the composer shows where you stand, and a cancelled campaign frees up its daily quota.
Track your campaigns
The history lists your latest campaigns with their status: Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Cancelled or Failed. A scheduled campaign can be cancelled in one click as long as it has not gone out.
The View button opens the details: number of recipients, deliveries and failures. For targeted campaigns (team or specific customers), you even get a per-recipient report: delivered, failed, no reachable device or notifications turned off.
Best practices
A good notification is short and concrete: an offer, a novelty, a deadline, and it makes people want to open the app.
Space out your sends: the quota sets a ceiling, but the right frequency is often below it.
Schedule for the hours when your customers are hungry: late morning and late afternoon work very well.
