The Analytics page is a dashboard made of widgets you choose and arrange yourself. Two filters at the top apply to all of them: the store (visible only if you have several) and the period (last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, or Custom for one specific day).
What is counted, everywhere
All non-cancelled orders, whatever their status (pending, preparing, delivered...); cancelled ones only appear in their dedicated widget.
Amounts include tax: it is the total paid by the customer, tax, delivery fee and tip included, discounts deducted.
The date used is the order date.
Test orders are never counted.
"Last N days" is a rolling window up to now; the percentage change compares with the period of the same length just before.
The widgets
Revenue: total for the period, number of orders, change, day-by-day curve.
Orders: number of (non-cancelled) orders and the delivery / pickup / dine-in split.
Average Basket: revenue divided by the number of orders, and average number of lines per order.
Top Products: the 10 best-selling products by quantity (excluding loyalty reward items).
Customers: New (accounts created over the period), Returning (customers who ordered over the period and have more than one order overall), Ordered (distinct customers over the period) and Total (all your customer accounts, whatever the period).
Canceled Orders: number, lost revenue and cancellation rate (share of the period's orders that were cancelled).
Revenue Detail: week or month of your choice, with previous / next navigation, total, number of orders, daily average and day-by-day detail. It follows the store filter but has its own period.
Loyalty Program: points earned, points redeemed, rewards used, discounts granted, and members holding points (right now).
Peak Hours: orders by hour or by day of the week, with the hour that receives the most orders.
Payment Methods: orders and amount per payment method.
The first six are shown by default; the other four are added on demand.
Customising the dashboard
Add Widget opens the list of the ten widgets; tick to show, untick to hide. A hidden widget is never lost.
When hovering over a widget, the cross at the top right hides it; the handle at the top left lets you drag and drop it somewhere else.
Your layout is saved automatically to your account, no button needed: you find it again on any device. Each administrator or manager has their own layout. The filters, however, go back to "All Stores" and "Last 30 days" every time you open the page.
If all widgets are hidden, the page reads "No widgets displayed" with the button to add some.
