Automatic Posts for Listings, Sales & Reviews

Automating sharing reviews, listings and sales to social media

Updated today

Social Studio offers three automation types to help you promote your activity:

  • Just Listed
Automatically shares your active listings to social media.

  • Sold
    Automatically publishes sold listings.

  • Reviews
    Automatically shares your client reviews.

Compliance considerations

To ensure your posts meet advertising and attribution requirements, some automations behave differently depending on your role in the transaction.

Sold posts are only automatically published when you were the listing or co-listing agent. If you represented the buyer, you can still create and publish sold posts manually.

Review automations require two separate workflows: one for seller-side transactions and one for buyer-side transactions. This ensures the correct templates are used and helps reduce compliance risks, particularly when using property images owned by the listing agent.

Benefits:

  • Automatically syncs with your property data, eliminating the need for manual updates.

  • Requires no manual design, as the posts are professionally formatted for you.

  • Allows you to set your own timing and review period for posts about your For Sale, Sold, and Sale Reviews.

Getting Started

  • Navigate to Tools & Setup from the left-hand side menu and select Automate Posts, or click Automate Posts from the dashboard tile:

In the Automatic Posts for Listings, Sales & Reviews section, click View Details.

Creating Your First Schedule

If you're new to automated scheduling, you'll first need to set up a schedule for either your reviews, listings, or sales.

  • You will see three options: For Sale, Sold, and Reviews.

  • You can select the content you want to set a schedule for automatic posting.

Scheduling Options & Customization

You have several options to control how and when your content is posted.

Once you have chosen the template, please follow these steps:

1. Schedule Frequency

  • Reviews: You can choose to post Monthly, Weekly, or Daily. The monthly option allows you to post once a month on a specific day you choose, which is ideal for lower review volumes.

  • Listings & Solds: You can choose between Automatic, Daily, or Weekly.

    • The Automatic option is new and designed to post your new listings as soon as they are available and processed with images, ensuring timely promotion. These posts will not occur overnight (between 10 pm - 7 am in your local timezone).

    • You can set a Post Limit of up to 5 posts per day for Automatic, Daily, and Weekly schedules.

2. Social Profiles and Branding Bar

  • Make sure to select the Social Profiles where you want the content to be posted.

You can customize the branding bar that appears on your posts.

  • Automatic: This option will dynamically apply whichever branding bar is set as your "Current Favorite" at the time of posting.

  • Specific Branding Bar: You can select a specific branding bar to be used for all posts in that schedule. This will remain static unless you manually edit the schedule.

3. Captions

Personalize the text that accompanies your social media posts.

  • Default Captions: The system generates a default caption using dynamic fields that pull in property details (e.g., {{Property Details}}, {{First address line (Street Address)}}).

  • Customization: You can edit the default caption and add your preferred hashtags.

Once you have created your first schedule, this initial view will change. To create additional schedules, you will use the Create Schedule dropdown menu at the top right of the page.

Managing Your Schedules

Once your schedules are set up, you can easily manage them by going to Automate Posts again, then clicking 'Manage Live Activity' under Showcase Wins with Live Activity

  • Create Schedule: Create an additional schedule for any remaining content types, such as 'For Sale', 'Sold', or 'Sale Reviews', depending on which ones do not yet have an automatic posting schedule.

  • Toggle On/Off: Quickly enable or disable a schedule using the toggle switch next to it.

  • Edit Schedule: Click the Edit Schedule button to make changes to the frequency, template, caption, or other settings.
