Setting up NPS

How to set up NPS and choose when it sends

This article walks through how to turn on NPS for your office and choose how surveys are sent.

Who can set up NPS?

Office administrators can turn NPS on or off. If you do not see the option, ask your office admin or head office.

Choosing how surveys are sent

You can run NPS at one of three automation levels as shown below.

Full automation

If your office uses a connected TMS or CRM (VaultRE, SkySlope, or Dotloop), customer details flow into RateMyAgent automatically when a property is marked sold or leased. Surveys send without any extra step from you.

This is the easiest setup. Once configured, you do not need to remember to request anything.

Partial automation

If you do not have a connected TMS or CRM, you can still use NPS. You will need to submit a manual review request after each transaction so we know who to survey.

Off

NPS can be disabled at the office level. Once off, no surveys send until it is re-enabled.

How send timing works

If your office uses Easy Reviews, NPS inherits your Easy Reviews send settings. That means NPS goes out at the same time as the review request, following whatever timing and agent-cancel buffer you have set (commonly 24h, 48h, or 5 days after sale confirmation, with reminder emails to you in that window so you can cancel if needed).

If your office does not use Easy Reviews, NPS sends immediately when we receive confirmation that the property was sold or leased. See How NPS surveys are sent for the full timing detail.

Connecting a CRM or TMS

If you want to move from partial to full automation, you will need to connect VaultRE, SkySlope, or Dotloop. Contact our support team for the setup steps for your specific platform.

What customers see

Customers see one feedback request that combines the NPS question with our review prompt. They can complete either part, or both, in one sitting. See How NPS surveys are sent for the full customer journey.

Regional notes

  • Australia and New Zealand : NPS is available for sales and rentals. Both trigger at confirmation of sale or lease.

  • Other regions : NPS is available for sales transactions, triggered at sale confirmation.
