1. Who Can Use Digital Ads?
Digital Ads are available to all agents using Promoter.
If you’ve ever visited a website like Booking.com and later seen their ads across other sites, you’ve experienced Google remarketing — and that’s how Promoter’s Digital Ads work.
The promoter uses Google’s remarketing technology to target ads to people who are either:
Physically located within your market area, or
Have previously engaged with your profile or ads.
Here’s how it works:
Promoter tracks the IP address of a computer or smart device to determine its location.
It then targets ads based on your ‘My Market’ zip codes from your profile.
When someone clicks or engages with your ad, Google places a tracking cookie on their device.
This allows your ads to be shown (or remarketed) to that person for up to 365 days, with built-in saturation limits so they don’t see the same ad too frequently.
2. How Much Does It Cost?
You can start promoting with as little as $50 + tax per week.
However, for the best results, we recommend a minimum spend of $100 + tax per week to maximise reach and visibility.
Your weekly budget directly impacts how often your ad is shown — increasing your spend will increase the frequency and reach of your campaign. You can adjust your budget anytime to suit your goals.
3. Who Is My Targeted Audience?
Your audience is determined by the zip codes entered in the ‘My Market’ section of your profile.
Promoter, in partnership with Google Analytics, targets potential clients using two key factors:
The physical location of a user’s device (within your core market zip codes).
Their searching behaviour is related to real estate or services in your area.
This dual approach ensures your ads reach people who are both actively searching and located in your market.
4. Where Does My Ad Click Through To?
When a potential client clicks ‘Find Out More’ on your ad, they are directed to your Promoter Agent Profile.
Your promoted review will appear pinned at the top of your profile page to highlight your most positive feedback.
5. What Happens If I Don’t Have Anything Lined Up for the Next Month?
If you haven’t scheduled a campaign for the upcoming month, Promoter automatically promotes your most recent review to keep your ads active.
To ensure your campaigns stay fresh and relevant, we recommend planning your promotions 2–3 months in advance.
