How to disconnect and reconnect social profiles in Social Studio?

This explains how to disconnect and reconnect social profiles when permissions expire or login details change.

Before following the steps below, make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off. See instructions for Google Chrome and Safari.

To disconnect and reconnect your social profiles in Social Studio, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Renowned account.

  2. Click on Social Studio on the left menu.

To Disconnect:

  • Click on Tools and Setup

  • Go to the Social Profiles.

  • Click the trash bin icon next to the account you want to disconnect.

  • Click on Yes, Remove

To Reconnect:

  • Click the Social Media (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, X) button at the top of the Social Profiles page.

  • Log in to your account if prompted.

  • For Instagram/Facebook, choose the Instagram Professional account linked to your desired Facebook Page and complete the integration instructions shown on the screen.

    After reconnecting, try posting your content again to ensure the connection is working properly.
