Agent Profiles
Renowned does not generally allow team or shared agent profiles on our site. However, specific exceptions exist, such as team profiles available through a TEAM subscription in NZ, designed to facilitate collaboration under specific guidelines.
RateMyAgent provides various options to support collaboration within a team while maintaining individual profiles, offering tailored solutions as needed to meet diverse professional requirements.
Additionally, a "Team Pro" subscription is required to claim and manage team profiles, offering enhanced tools to support collective branding efforts.
The setup process for a team profile can be facilitated by an account manager, ensuring smooth and efficient onboarding.
To ensure an even playing field, agent profiles on Renowned are designed to represent individual agents, not teams of agents working together and combining their stats. In cases where agents wish to form a team identity, they can set up a team profile through the special TEAM subscription (NZ only) while maintaining their individual profiles separately.
This creates a balanced ecosystem where individuals maintain their own professional identity while teams can foster a collective brand through optional subscriptions.
The process involves setting up individual profiles first, subscribing to the Team Pro plan, and customizing the profile to represent the team effectively.
Furthermore, reviews and rankings on RateMyAgent are designed to reflect individual agent performance rather than collective contributions from team members. This approach ensures fairness and objectivity in leaderboard placements, highlighting individual efforts across the platform.
Please note: reviews that solely mention another agent (other than the one listed on the profile) will be automatically moved to the agent named. The exception is agents in New Zealand who are under a Team Profile subscription. For team profiles created under TEAM subscriptions, reviews can be managed collectively while adhering to Renowned policies.
For clarity, claiming a team profile requires a "Team Pro" subscription, facilitating centralized management of reviews for the team.
Additionally, reviews that contribute to an agent's ranking must be directly attributed to that specific agent's profile, ensuring clarity and fairness in leaderboard evaluations.
FAQs
Can I update my profile to reflect both my individual name and a team identity? No, you cannot merge an individual profile into a team profile. However, you can update your name on your individual profile and create a separate team profile under a TEAM subscription to reflect your partnership branding. Do I need a TEAM subscription to collect reviews as a team? Yes, a TEAM subscription is required to set up a dedicated team profile, which will manage team branding and reviews efficiently.
Why are there no leaderboards for team profiles? Currently, RateMyAgent leaderboards are focused on individual profiles as part of our commitment to recognize personal achievements. Implementing a separate leaderboard for team profiles would require significant resources and is currently not prioritized.
Office Profiles
We are often asked to merge agency profiles of several offices so that they can be represented on a single profile. This is also not permitted on RateMyAgent. Agencies with several physical locations will each need to be represented on RateMyAgent with their own profile for each location.
This is to once again, ensure each office is properly represented on an even playing field. If you are are found to be multiple offices utilising one profile, you may be excluded from Awards.
Team Profiles through TEAM Subscription (NZ Only). Team Profiles allow multiple agents to collaborate and manage branding under a unified identity. All agents within the team are required to maintain their own individual profiles on RateMyAgent.
However, it is important to note that team profiles do not currently have a dedicated leaderboard, as the platform emphasizes individual rankings.

Regional Availability: Originally available in New Zealand, Team Pro features are expanding globally based on demand.
