How to charge a customer for a new rental, a rental extension, or for damages incurred on the rental.

πŸ’³ How to Charge a Customer

  1. πŸ‘€ Go to Contacts

    • Open the Contacts tab.

    • Find the customer you want to charge.

  2. πŸ’° Option 1: Request Payment (for quick extensions)

    • Click Request Payment.

    • Choose the product (only one can be selected).

    • Great for single-day extensions.

  3. πŸ’΅ Option 2: Create a Manual Charge or Invoice

    • On the right side, open the Payments tab β†’ click Actions.

    • Choose one of the following:

      • Charge Now β†’ manually enter the amount, description, and card info (or select one on file).

      • Create Invoice β†’ best for initial rentals or multi-day charges.

        • Add multiple products or quantities (e.g., 3 rental days + security deposit).

        • Send the invoice via email or text.
