Learn how to correct the most common issue with sites, including BugHerd not loading properly.

🛠️ How to Enable JavaScript so BugHerd Appears

  1. 🌐 Open your website
    If BugHerd isn’t showing in the bottom-right corner, JavaScript permissions likely need to be enabled.

  2. 🔍 Click “View Site Information”
    Look to the left of the website URL in your browser’s address bar and click the site information icon.

  3. ⚙️ Open Site Settings
    From the menu, select Site Settings.

  4. ✅ Allow JavaScript
    Find JavaScript in the list. If it’s set to Blocked, change it to Allow.

  5. 🔄 Reload your site
    Go back to your website and click Reload.

  6. 🎉 Confirm the changes
    You should now see:
    🐞 BugHerd in the bottom-right corner
    ✨ Fonts displaying correctly
    💬 Pop-ups working again

💡 Pro Tip
JavaScript affects many parts of your website beyond BugHerd. Even if you’re not using BugHerd, enabling JavaScript helps ensure your site displays correctly and all features work as intended.
