🧭 How to Change Rental Availability Settings

Change availability and unit/product/equipment specific settings for availabilty.

  1. πŸ“… Go to Rental Settings
    Navigate to Calendars β†’ Calendar Settings β†’ Rentals.

  2. 🌐 Choose what you want to update
    You have two main options:

    • Global Settings (applies to all rentals)

    • Individual unit settings (specific trailer settings)

  3. πŸ•’ Adjust Global Operating Hours (optional)
    Set your business operating hours β€” these define when customers are allowed to book.
    Example: For contactless setups, you may set 12am–11:55pm.

  4. βš™οΈ Open individual booking settings (if needed)
    Click the pencil icon on a specific unit and go to Booking Settings.

  5. πŸ“† Set rental rules
    Configure the following:

    • Minimum Duration (shortest rental allowed)

    • Maximum Duration (longest rental allowed)

    • Pre-Buffer Time (time blocked before rentals)

    • Post-Buffer Time (time blocked after rentals)

    • Minimum Scheduling Notice (how soon a customer can book)

    • Max Advanced Booking Window (how far ahead customers can book)

  6. 🧠 Recommended settings

    • Set Post-Buffer Time: 2 hours

    • Set Minimum Scheduling Notice: 1 hour
      This prevents overlapping bookings and ensures customers have enough time to complete checkout properly.

    Be sure to save all updates once finished.

  8. πŸ“¦ Apply changes to other listings (if needed)
    If you updated a specific unit, repeat or apply the same settings to other trailers as needed.
