How to enable IMAP access for email outreach - Outlook

Overview

In order to connect your personal Outlook account to ReplyAssist, you should enable IMAP access and create an application password first.

  1. Enable 2-step Verification in the Outlook Security Settings - you will be looking for a tab titled "Security". If that link doesn't take you the page shown in the image below, please try using this link and click the blue "Sign in" button.

    Before you finish your 2-FA setup Outlook will indicate that you can now create an App Password. This will be the next step in the process.

  2. In Settings, go to App password and "Create a new app password"

  3. An app password will be provided. Copy the password, as you will need it further in the setup.

  4. Go back to your ReplyAssist Account and create an Email Integration

  5. A new tab will be opened, select the option "Select a different provider"

  6. Choose IMAP



  7. Input data in the fields:

    “Email” - input your email address

    “Password” - input password generated in the “App passwords” in your Outlook Account

    Server information:

    IMAP host: outlook.office365.com Port: 993

    SMTP host: smtp-mail.outlook.com Port: 587
