How to Unlock Your Doors

The Resident App allows residents to unlock their front door using a digital key, providing seamless and secure access. Follow these steps to unlock your door using the app.

Step 1: Open the Resident App

  • Ensure the Resident App is installed on your smartphone.

  • Log in using your registered email and password.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Access" Section

  • From the home screen, you will see the main access key

  • If you don’t see the option you require, select the "View More" button which will provide you a list of all the smart lock access doors you have access to.

Step 3: Select Your Front Door

  • A list of available digital keys will be displayed.

  • Tap on your front door key to proceed.

Step 4: Unlock the Door

  • Tap the “Unlock” button within the app.

  • If prompted, hold your phone close to the lock (for Bluetooth-enabled locks).

  • Some buildings may require you to scan a QR code at the door or use NFC tap access.

Step 5: Wait for Confirmation

  • Once the door unlocks, you will see a success message.

  • The lock may make a sound or flash a light to indicate it has been opened.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled (if required for your lock).

  • Check your internet connection if the key isn’t responding.

  • Restart the app if the unlock button isn’t working.

  • Contact building management if your digital key isn’t working or has expired.

By following these steps, you can quickly and securely unlock your front door using the Resident App.
