How to Generate a Guest Key

Your Resident App allows you to generate a Guest Key to provide temporary access to visitors, service providers, or family members. Follow these steps to create a Guest Key:

Step 1: Open your Resident App

  • Ensure the Resident App is installed and updated on your device.

  • Log in using your registered email and password.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Keys" or "Guest Access" Section

  • From the home screen, tap on “Invite Guest”

Step 3: Enter the Guest's Details

  • Once you have selected "Invite Guest” option, you will be brought to a page to enter the guest's details, all fields must be entered to go to the next step.

  • Enter the required details for the guest, including:

    • Guest name

    • Email Address

    • Mobile Number

Step 4: Select the Destination

  • Tap the necessary areas the guest will require access to

Step 5: Select the Start time

  • Select the date and time you wish to start the guests access to the building

    • *Note, the access granted will expire after 24 hours of the access being granted*

Step 6: Confirm Details

  • You will then be taken to the summary page to confirm the guest's name, the areas within the building where they will have access to and the date and time the access will be granted.

  • Review the access details carefully.

    Step 5: Share the Guest Key

    • Once generated, you will be taken to the messages function to send over the link to the guest to gain access.

    • You can share this key via:

      • SMS, email, or messaging apps.

By following these steps, you can easily grant and manage temporary access for guests using the Resident App.
