What are Messages?
Messages can be sent between a Booker User and a Venue, its a way for Bookers to contact venues directly on RestauRent. Many messages are private event inquiries, where users reach out with specific event needs.
How You’ll Receive New Message Notifications
Whenever a user sends a new message, RestauRent will notify you via email. This email will be sent from hello@restaurent.com and will have the subject line "New Message From." Inside the email, you’ll see the complete message content, along with two buttons:
Respond to Message: This button opens the message thread directly in RestauRent, where you can reply to the message.
In the RestauRent message thread, you’ll also find user contact details, like their email address and phone number.
Contact Support: Click this if you need help managing the message or have questions.
How to Access and Manage Your Messages on RestauRent
Log into your RestauRent account.
Click on the Messages tab on the left-hand menu.
Inside the Messages tab, you’ll see a list of message threads. Each thread represents a conversation between you and a user.
To open a conversation thread, click View Message next to the specific message you’d like to see. This will bring up the full message thread, allowing you to view the entire history of your conversation with that user.
To respond within a thread, click Add Message, type your reply, and then click Submit to send the message.
