Overview

The Local Leads feature is designed to help venues connect with potential bookers who are open to receiving venue proposals. Instead of requesting a specific venue, some bookers opt into the Request for Proposal (RFP) system when they are unsure which venue best fits their needs. This feature allows venues to submit tailored proposals only to bookers who have actively chosen to explore venue options this way.

With Local Leads, venues are not pitching to bookers who have already submitted direct requests elsewhere. Instead, they are responding to bookers who have expressly chosen to receive multiple proposals to help them decide on a venue.

How Local Leads Work

  1. Bookers Submit a Request

  • Bookers who are unsure about which venue to choose can opt into the Request for Proposal (RFP) method.

  • They fill out a single booking request form available across various pages on RestauRent that are not a venues listing profile (e.g., home page, region pages, and event category pages).

  • They provide key event details such as date, guest count, budget, and preferred event type and verify their account before submitting their request.

  • By submitting an RFP, bookers agree to have venues submit proposals tailored to their event needs.

  1. Requests Are Qualified & Sent to Venues

  • Requests go through an automated qualification process.

  • Up to 50 venues that are exact matches based on the request’s region, capacity, event type, and venue type receive the lead through email notification. All other venues are welcome to submit an RFP through their dashboard directly

  1. Venues Submit Proposals

  • Eligible venues can review the lead details in their Home page under the Local Leads tab.

  • If interested, they can submit a proposal directly to the booker.

4 .Bookers Review & Accept Proposals

  • Bookers can review proposals from venues in their Booking Manager on their account.

  • If a booker accepts a proposal, they are taken directly to the venue’s booking form to submit an official request.

5. Proposal Status Updates

  • When a booker submits a formal booking request, an automation checks if it came from a Local Lead proposal.

  • If it matches, the proposal is marked as accepted and the lead closes (no further proposals from other venues can be submitted).

  • The venue receives an email notification confirming that their proposal has been accepted.
