The Documents Due List is a crucial feature within the EMR that helps you monitor pending documents for your patients. This guide will walk you through accessing, filtering, and managing this list to ensure all necessary documentation is completed promptly.

An important note: by default, the Documents Due list is filtered only to display documents assigned to you. To see the entirety of the docs due, edit the filter to Select All therapists.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Accessing the Documents Due List

    • Start by ensuring you are on the My Dashboard page of the EMR.

    • Scroll down to locate the Documents Due List.

  2. Understanding the Report Layout

    • The report consists of seven filterable columns: Patient, Discipline, Doc Type, Therapist, Due Date, Status, and Action.

    • The default view displays all patients on your caseload with documents due.

  3. Filtering the Documents Due List

    • You can multi-select from the drop-down lists within each filter.

    • By default, the list includes all patients and document types.

    • The Discipline filter will default to your specific therapy discipline. If you want to view documents across all disciplines or all therapists, adjust the filters accordingly by clicking Select All.

  4. Using Filter Functions

    • The filters allow you to sort alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A), select all, clear, and search.

    • After making your selections, remember to click Apply to save the changes.

  5. Managing Filter Selections

    • A purple circle with a number inside indicates how many filters have been applied.

    • You can multi-select options within filters and use the Clear option to reset the view to its default state.

  6. Sorting and Managing Columns

    • Click the arrow next to a column header to sort the list alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A).

    • To address a specific document, click the (+) Add icon to create the required document and clear the alert.

    • Use the document icon (clipboard) to view the document, the pencil icon to edit it, or the arrow icon to navigate to the patient's Episode of Care.

  7. Saving or Printing the List

    • If you need a hard copy or want to save the list for later, click Download to save the file to your device

Conclusion

The Documents Due List is a powerful tool to ensure all patient-related documentation is up to date. Utilize the filters, sorting options, and document management features to streamline your workflow and maintain compliance with documentation requirements.
