When you need to do this manually
You will need to handle this manually if:
You are using webhooks
You are not using an integration/platform that is currently not supported by Retention.com.
Upload your existing contacts
You can upload a list of your existing contacts so they are not added again.
File requirements:
One column labeled email
Saved as a .CSV file
Maximum file size: 500MB
If your file is larger, split it into smaller files.
Important to know
This prevents Retention.com from collecting contacts you already have
If your list changes frequently, you will need to upload updates periodically
This step is only needed for custom setups (like webhooks)
