Why Is My RetouchMe Order Taking Longer Than Expected, and How Can I Speed It Up?

Learn why your RetouchMe order might take more time, including reasons like high demand or complex edits, and what you can do about it.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Typical processing time

Most simple retouching orders are completed within 15–30 minutes. However, processing times can vary depending on:

  • Queue size: during peak hours or high-demand seasons, the number of orders increases, which may extend processing times.

  • Order complexity: requests that involve advanced or detailed retouching may take longer.

  • Human-based retouching: RetouchMe uses professional designers, not automated tools, to ensure quality, which sometimes means longer processing times.

What you can expect

While delays may occur during busy periods, most orders are completed within a few hours. If your order hasn’t been completed within 24 hours, please contact support for assistance.

How can I increase the speed of processing my order?

Here are some ways to improve the chances of faster processing:

  1. Get a Subscription: subscribers’ orders are prioritized in the queue, which significantly reduces processing times.

  2. Use additional options during peak times

During high-demand periods, subscribers may see two additional buttons in the app:

  • Get order faster: pay an extra fee to further prioritize your order and have it processed faster.

  • Wait More & Save: choose this option if you’re not in a rush. Your order will take longer but you’ll save credits.

Note: Having a subscription increases the likelihood of faster processing, but it does not guarantee immediate results during high-demand periods. The RetouchMe team is actively working to minimize delays during peak times.
