Now that you've created your first community, it's time to make it yours! With Returning.AI, you can fully white-label your community and customize it to fit your brand and vision. To get started, we’ll customize your community’s appearance to better reflect your brand and identity.

Let's start by going to the Appearance section of your Community Settings. Here, you can customize the following aspects of your community.

This is your main community icon. Upload an image that best represents your community. The icon is displayed in the header bar, on your community's login, registration, and invite pages, and in daily digest emails (if enabled).

Different from your community icon, your logo should be one that represents your business or your brand.

You can upload both a Dark Theme Logo and a Light Theme Logo.

The header bar is displayed at the top left of your community and can be configured to include any combination of your community name, icon, and logo. Simply check the items you’d like to display in the header bar.

Your Community Name represents your community and serves as its primary identifier. Here, you can update your community’s name. Note that community names are limited to a maximum of 32 characters, including special characters.

Your Community URL is the link to your community. By default, it is set to app.returning.ai/app/community/[your-community-name]. To enhance your personal brand, simply enter a custom URL of your choice.

Link previews are visual snippets displayed when you share your community link in a chat or post. Here, you can customize the image, title, and description for your community’s link preview.

Choose the font that will be used throughout your community! This font will apply to settings, channels, community content, and all other areas of your community.

Your server bot posts notifications in your community channels. Here, you can customize its name and display photo.

Colors are a key aspect of your community and brand identity! Returning.AI gives you full control over customizing your server’s colors. You can create a light or dark theme for your server and choose the default color mode for new members.

To start customizing your color theme, select either a Dark or Light theme to customize first. You can choose from our preset color themes or use the theme customizer to create your own!

To create a custom theme, click Create Light/Dark Theme. In the theme customizer, enter the Hex/RGB codes for your desired colors, or use the color sliders to create a theme that best represents your brand. Once you’re happy with your theme, click Apply This Theme to save it to your presets. Then, click Save Changes to apply your new theme to your community.

Loading animations are sometimes displayed to members as they navigate through different pages in your community. Here, you can choose from 3 preset animations or choose to import your own custom-loading animations. Returning.AI supports custom loading animations in the form of HTML/CSS codes or Lottie JSON files.

When you send someone an invite to join your community, your invite background image will be displayed in the background of your invite screen. Uploading a community-related image will help potential members catch a glimpse of what your community is all about.
