As you may have seen, the way our new ReviewBuzz platform rewards and uses points is quite different from the old platform.

Before, points were awarded to an employee when the customer attempted to leave a review but never finished. Now, those points are awarded as soon as the employee sends a review request, putting the control back in the hands of your team.

Other events for earning points include receiving a review or completed survey, and getting a 5-star review.

  1. Points Classes: Custom points can no longer be associated with single employees and are now attributable with our new points classes feature. In the old platform, every employee was able to earn points differently. This lead to complicated and confusing points systems that were difficult and time consuming to manage. Now, you can create a points class for a specialized group of employees, e.g. installers, and set how many points you would like to award for each event. We hope you like the new points system.

  2. For those of you using both platforms and earning points on both, we are moving those points over to the new platform to ensure we are reflecting the correct point totals on the new platform. Linked employees have points deducted from our old platform and added to our new platform daily.

  3. We have changed our Leaderboard points to show total points earned, not including those that have been spent. This is better way to compare your employees. This should also remove any negative values some of you were experiencing when making adjustments in the old system.

  4. On our points log, we are now reflecting the movement of points from the old system as a transaction so you can verify that the points move has occurred from the old system to the new system.
