How do I use the BuzzMap?
Your company BuzzMap will open in a browser where you can navigate the map as you can with a Google Map. This includes the ability to zoom in/out, drag to navigate, etc.
If your browser’s location permissions are enabled, the map will automatically center on your approximate geo-location.
Reviews are displayed as orange icons on the map. Your company location(s) are displayed as red pin icons. Only reviews solicited from the ReviewBuzz platform with location data or reviews you’ve manually added location data to will display on the map.
Filter the reviews by date range, employees, star rating, location and review site to narrow down any specific data you would like to see.
How does BuzzMaps gather and display location data?
When a customer clicks on a review request link from an email or text message, we capture their location either via their device location settings or IP address.
The customer’s review displays on the map as a pin in a general vicinity of where they were when they left the review. Location is displayed within a few block radius and not the exact location for privacy reasons.
Our web interface also allows you to add addresses to reviews for which we did not gather location information so they will display on the map.
How do I manually add a location to the review?
While we automatically capture the majority of customers location data when they leave a review, there are instances we will not have this information.
To manually add the review location:
Log in to your ReviewBuzz dashboard
Navigate to your Reviews page
Hover over any orange pin and click “Add to Map”
Note: We currently do not allow editing of locations that were automatically captured during the review request process
Enter the address, select from the Google drop-down
Click “Confirm”
Within just a few seconds, the review will display on the BuzzMap in the general vicinity of the address selected
Make sure to refresh your BuzzMap to see the changes
To edit or remove the review location:
Log in to your ReviewBuzz dashboard
Navigate to your Reviews page
Hover over any gray pin and click “View/Edit”
Note: We currently do not allow editing of locations that were automatically captured during the review request process
Enter the new address, select from the Google drop-down
OR select the “Remove Location” toggle to remove all location data
Click “Confirm”
Within just a few seconds, the review will be updated on the BuzzMap
Make sure to refresh your BuzzMap to see the changes
