Hiding Submission Information from Reviewers
As an Admin in Reviewr, you have control over what information is visible to reviewers when they access the submission listings. This includes the ability to hide details such as submission name, submitter name, group (e.g., company or team name), and other identifying fields. However, it's important to note that while Admins can hide most display elements, fields within the actual submission form cannot be hidden by Admins—you'll need assistance from the Reviewr team to make those changes.
How to Hide Submission Info in Listings
To hide identifying fields from reviewers:
Go to the Configuration Page
From the Admin view, navigate to the Configuration page.Access the Search Settings Tab
Select the Search Settings tab. Here, you’ll find two key sections:Judge Submission Search Columns
Judge Submission Search Constraints
Search Columns
These determine what information is shown in the reviewer’s submission listing view.
To hide submission details, uncheck the boxes for the following under the Judge Search Columns section:
Submission Name
Team
Company Name
(or your event's custom group/division labels)
If any of these fields include identifying or personal information, unchecking them will remove that visibility from the reviewer dashboard.
Search Constraints
These determine which fields reviewers can use to filter or search the submission list.
It’s a good idea to uncheck the same fields here that you hid from the Search Columns. This prevents reviewers from searching for content they can no longer see.
Tip: While it’s not required to match the Columns and Constraints settings, doing so provides a more intuitive reviewer experience and avoids confusion.
Important Note on Submission Name Visibility
Even if the Submission Name
is hidden from the listing view, it will still appear at the top of the page when reviewers open a submission to view its contents.
If your submission names include personal information (like the submitter’s full name), and you need this hidden, contact the Reviewr team. This setting can only be changed on our end.
