Adding Downloads or Links to the Submission Form

As an Admin, you may want to include downloadable resources or hyperlinks directly within your submission form. This can be helpful for providing additional context, rubrics, templates, or branded imagery to submitters.

Adding a Downloadable File (Image, PDF, etc.)

If you want to embed a file—such as a rubric, instructional PDF, or image—within the submission form, you’ll need assistance from the Reviewr team.

To request a file to be inserted into your form:

  1. Send the file via the Reviewr chat tool (found in your Admin dashboard).

  2. Include clear instructions, such as:

    • What the file is (e.g., “Rubric image,” “Company logo”).

    • Where in the submission form it should appear (e.g., “at the top of Page 2,” or “under the Instructions field on Page 1”).

Once received, the Reviewr team will place the file in your form and confirm when it's ready to view.

Inserting a Hyperlink Into the Submission Form

If you’d like to insert a clickable hyperlink (e.g., to a PDF, webpage, or external resource), you can do this yourself using the Prompt Text (HTML Box) field.

Steps to insert a hyperlink:

  1. Add a Prompt Text (HTML Box) to the desired location in your form.

  2. Type the text you want submitters to see (e.g., "Click here to download the rubric").

  3. Highlight the specific words you want to use as the hyperlink.

  4. Click the Link icon in the toolbar.

  5. In the URL field, paste the full web address (e.g., https://example.com/file.pdf).

  6. Switch to the “Target” tab.

  7. Select “New Window (_blank)” from the dropdown to ensure the link opens in a new tab.

  8. Click OK to insert the link.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Double-check all links to ensure they work before publishing the form.

  • If your file is not already hosted online (e.g., in Google Drive or Dropbox), and you want to hyperlink to it, consider first sharing it with the Reviewr team so they can host it and provide you with a clean, shareable URL.

  • Keep file names and link descriptions clear and simple for submitters.
