Why You Might Not See Recent Changes: Understanding Browser Caching

If you're not seeing recent updates or changes while using Reviewr—whether it's on a submission form, evaluation form, or any other page—you may be experiencing a browser caching issue.

What is Browser Caching?

Browsers store (or “cache”) parts of websites to help them load faster the next time you visit. However, if you've been on a page for a long time, made many edits, or used the site heavily, your browser might cache an older version of the page. This can cause the page to stop displaying the most current data—even if changes were saved or updates were made by the Reviewr team.

Common Symptoms of Caching Issues

  • Updates or changes aren't appearing

  • Edits you made don’t show up after saving

  • You’re seeing an outdated version of a form or event page

How to Fix It

Since caching happens on your device and browser, it’s not something the Reviewr platform can control. The good news is it's easy to fix:

  • Insert this link into your browser: http://my.reviewr.com/csarf/login

  • Refresh the page

  • Log out and log back in

  • Try a hard refresh (Shift + Refresh or Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R)

  • Clear your browser cache if the issue persists

These actions force your browser to reload the latest version of the page.

Still Having Issues?

If you've tried refreshing, logging out and back in, or clearing your browser cache—and you're still not seeing updates—please reach out to the Reviewr team. We're happy to assist and help diagnose if something else is causing the issue.
