How do I assign an evaluation form to a group?

In Reviewr, assigning evaluation forms to groups ensures that reviewers see only the scoring forms intended for their assigned submissions. This is especially important when using multiple evaluation forms for different categories, rounds, or judging panels.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In your admin dashboard, click Data Management from the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Select the Groups & Divisions page.

  3. At the top of the page, click the Evaluation Group Assignments tab.

  4. Decide how you want evaluation forms to be assigned:

    • Automatically assign all Evaluation forms to all groups – Every evaluation form will be available for every submission in every group.

    • I would like to decide the Evaluation forms used for each group – Allows you to manually choose which forms are linked to which groups.

If you choose to manually assign evaluation forms to groups:

  1. Click Edit next to the group you want to configure.

  2. Check the box(es) next to the evaluation form(s) that should be assigned to that group.

  3. Click Save to apply your changes.

Why This Matters

  • Targeted Evaluations: Ensures reviewers only see forms relevant to the submissions they’re judging.

  • Multiple Categories/Rounds: Supports different scoring criteria for different groups.

  • Streamlined Review Process: Prevents confusion and keeps evaluations consistent within each group.

Best Practice: Before your review period begins, double-check your evaluation group assignments to make sure each reviewer sees the correct form(s).
