Previously, when Groups are created, they are configured to “Automatically assign all reviewers to all submissions” by default. If you did not want to auto-assign, you had the option to select “I would like to decide the submissions assigned to each reviewer.”
Assignments will no longer default to “Automatically assign…” and the option to Auto-Assign has been integrated into each Groups normal “Manage Assignments” interface.
Steps to Assign Submissions to Reviewers:
When you navigate to “Groups & Divisions” within the "Data Management" clipboard icon, you’ll want to select “Manage Assignments" for one of your groups:
You’ll then see the Submissions Tab and the Reviewers Tab with a hit list below:
The Submissions tab will display only fully submitted submissions.
NOTE: by default, submissions must be in the Accepted status to be visible to reviewers. You can adjust this setting from your Event Configs page under the "Judge Settings" tab to enable other submission statuses to be visible to reviewers.
This interface will show you how many reviewers are assigned to each submission, and who they are. Alternatively, the Reviewrs tab will show you how many submissions are assigned to each reviewer, and the submission names.
The process for Manual Assignments will remain the same.
To Auto-Assign, you’ll need to check any/all of the boxes for your submissions, then use the Drop-Down menu and select “Auto-Assign Reviewers”, and click “GO”.
From here, you will be prompted to set a maximum and minimum number of Reviewers. Then, click “Auto-Assign”.
Assign All Submissions to all available reviewers:
Under Submission Tab: Select all Submissions with the checkboxes on the Right.
In the drop-down you will select “Assign All”
Then select “Go” and then all reviewers will be assigned to all submissions
Admin - Manage Submissions (# of Reviewer Assignments)
This new search filter will allow you to search and view in your manage submissions tab
This search filter will allow you to search for the number of Reviewers assigned to each submission with 4 filters:
Less than
Greater than
Equal
Between
When selected each of the selected filters will allow you to input a numerical value to filter your submissions based on these parameters as well as with all of the other search functions for clarity of assignments.
This new search parameter will be extremely useful in identifying which submissions have an unequal distribution of reviewers and/or which submissions are not yet assigned for review.
