An efficient workflow can save you time and put that towards taking care of patients! There are a few Operational Reports that can help increase efficiency for both Providers and Front Desk staff! ๐Ÿค“

The Appointment by Status Report will not only show you a list of your Appointment statuses (such as cancelled Appointments), but it can also be utilized to create list of Appointments for a specific patient that you can export from Clerk. Simply search the name of the patient > choose the desired date range > select the lines on the left > head over to Bulk Actions > Export!

The Incomplete Appointments Report will show any appointments that have been Checked In or marked In Treatment, but have not been marked Complete. This report will also let you know if an Invoice has been made, if SOAP Notes have been added at all, or if any Claims have been generated. Clicking on the Yes or No under the SOAP Note or Invoice columns will direct you to either the Outcome Page or the Checkout Page to assist with Completing the appointment!

The SOAP Notes Not Signed Report will show any appointments with SOAP Notes entered that have not been signed by the rendering provider, and will allow them to quickly shortcut to the Outcome screen of the Appointment by clicking on the name of the patient. This report will also tell the provider if the appointment has a Completed status, which is a key factor for utilizing SALT going forward!

The Missing Line Items From Charge Report will show any appointments that have an associated invoice but do not have anything filled out in the Line Items Tab of the Appointment Outcome. The purpose of this report is for insurance clinics and clinics that see MVA and/or PI cases to be able to find any charges that do not have associated billing codes. For example, the patient was charged the Office Visit Fee, but the provider has yet to put in the ICD10 and CPT code for that charge.
