Despite our best efforts, you may still get the occasional denied claim. Not to fear! We can easily review those denials and resubmit with just a few quick steps!
To easily review denials and resubmit claims, head over to the Claims Tab and filter your claims to Rejected. Next, scroll to the right to view the Actions column. Here, you should see four icons:
Archive Claim
Create Duplicate Claim
View Related Claims
View 277 Claim Response OR View 835 Claim Response
You will first want view the Claim Response by clicking on the Response Icon and see why the claim was rejected. Once you have reviewed the denial reasons, click the icon that says Create Duplicate Claim.
This will copy the denied claim and paste it into a brand new claim. At this point, you can now tab through the claim, editing the parts that need updating.
β¨Note:β¨ Under the Condition tab, you may select the correct Resubmission Code. The Original Reference Number should populate with the original claim number from the clearinghouse.
Once you have corrected the claim, you can submit it as you would any other claim!
From the Claims Tab, you should be able to track any Related Claims that have been made from the original denied claim by clicking the View Related Claims button.
