Let’s say you need to file an Insurance Claim for a patient but want to check your Diagnosis and Modifier Codes. Are you able to go back in and change it? Great news - you can!

To edit a Claim already saved, go to Reports > Insurance Claims (you can also do this from the Patient Profile under the Patient’s Financials Tab as well). Once in the Claim, navigate to the Diagnosis Tab:

Select the Diagnosis you wish to edit:

To remove it altogether, from the drop-down scroll all the way back up to the top to choose, “select a diagnosis code” OR select the correct Code instead:

Once you have the correct Diagnosis Code selected, go through each step until you get to the Save button and VOILA! You’re good to go!
