How to Edit a Pattern in Sales Analytics

In Sales Analytics on the Revlitix platform, editing a pattern is straightforward and allows users to refine their analyses and improve their insights.

Here’s how to edit a pattern from two different locations within the platform for enhanced convenience and flexibility.

Editing a Pattern: Two Methods Explained

Method 1: From the Patterns Listing Page

  1. Navigate to Patterns Listing Page: Go to the main page where all your patterns are listed.

2. Access Pattern Options: Find the pattern you want to edit and click the options icon (often displayed as three dots) next to the specific pattern.

3. Select 'Edit': From the dropdown menu, choose 'Edit' to open the pattern’s listing page configuration.

4. Edit Details:

  • Field Mapping: You can make changes to how fields are mapped within the pattern.

  • Success and Failure Criteria: Modify the criteria that define the success and failure of the pattern to better suit your analytical needs.

Method 2: From the Patterns Tab

  1. Open Patterns Tab: While in the Patterns tab of your dashboard or main menu, locate the pattern you wish to edit.

2. Click the 'Edit' Button: Directly click the 'Edit' button associated with the pattern. This will open the Patterns Config.

3. Modify Pattern Fields: Adjust the fields within the pattern’s configuration to update your analysis criteria or any other necessary details.
