Purpose
The AutoOff function of the Node Switch is ideal for managing devices or systems that require a limited operating time.
1. Pressure Water Systems:
• These systems are often prone to malfunctions, such as leaks or a blocked pump.
• With the AutoOff function, you can set a maximum runtime for the water pump.
• Benefit: Minimizes the risk of damage due to overuse or continuous operation.
2. Lighting:
• Particularly useful for lights that are not always visible (e.g., cabinet or exterior lights).
• Lights will automatically turn off after a preset duration.
• Benefit: Saves energy and prevents unnoticed operation.
Configuration
Setting up the AutoOff function is straightforward using the Node Switch configuration menu:
1. Access the Node’s configuration via the appropriate control app.
2. Select the desired shutdown time (e.g., 5 minutes for a water pump or 30 minutes for lighting).
3. Save the settings.
Once configured, the Node Switch will automatically turn off the connected device after the specified time has elapsed.
