Guide: Reading Fill Levels from Alugas Bottles
Explanation
The fill levels of Alugas bottles can be efficiently read using Livello resistance sensors combined with the Node Level controller. These sensors measure the resistance, which varies depending on the fill level of the gas bottle.
Connecting the Sensor
1. Mount the Sensor:
• Screw the Livello resistance sensor onto the Alugas bottle so that it can reliably measure the fill level.
2. Connect to Node Level:
• Connect the sensor to the 0-190 Ohm input of the Node Level to transmit the resistance measurements.
Configuration
1. Set the Channel:
• Configure the Node Level channel to 0-190 Ohm to read the resistance values correctly.
2. Enter Maximum Gas Capacity:
• Enter the maximum liter capacity of the gas the bottle can hold. This information allows for an accurate determination of the fill level and the conversion of resistance values into the current fill level of the bottle.
With this configuration, the fill level of the Alugas bottle can be monitored and read accurately.
