Primary Battery Feature

The Primary Battery function is a feature that sets one of Revotion's battery modules as the 'main battery'. This means that this is taken as the main value and the values of other batteries are added to it. This has the advantage that all currents can now be calculated together and therefore more accurate results can be achieved.

It does not matter how many battery modules are used, the only important thing is that these modules are installed in parallel from the battery.

It also does not matter which battery is set as the main battery. All of them can fulfil this function for a battery bank. The main battery is then also the module that must be fully configured & calibrated. From this the app draws the data for calculating the SoC (State of Charge).

The other modules are then only current meters and send this data to the main battery. The channels must still be configured individually for each NODE in order to display them correctly in the energy widget.

This means that the individual voltage and total consumption are still displayed in each screen of the individual batteries. Remaining time, charging time and state of charge (SoC) are determined from all of them together and therefore apply equally to all of them.
