📢 This article explains "how to uninstall the Zid app (version 2)", which is gradually being rolled out to all customers. You can check the installed version on your platform through the Orders page. If you are using version 1, click [here] to view the relevant articles.

Rewaa allows you to uninstall the Zid app when needed, for example, to reorganize products entirely before starting to receive orders or for any other necessary reason. This article explains the uninstallation process and its consequences.

Pre-Uninstallation Instructions

⚠️ Before proceeding with the uninstallation, please note the following effects of uninstalling the Zid app from Rewaa:

  • Orders will stop syncing to Rewaa.

  • Product data synchronization between the two platforms will be halted.

Steps to Uninstall the Zid App

⚠️ Uninstalling the app is NOT recommended if you have new pending orders on Zid.

If you need assistance, please contact technical support via live chat from within the platform or through WhatsApp.

To uninstall the Zid app, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Applications > Available Apps > Zid.

  1. Click on Uninstall.

  • Select the reason for uninstalling the application, then click Uninstall.
    The application will be uninstalled immediately.

1️- Can I reinstall the Zid app after uninstalling it?

2️- Will my product data on Rewaa or Zid be affected after uninstalling the Zid app?

Uninstalling the Zid app means disconnecting the integration between the two platforms.

  • You will no longer receive orders from Zid.

  • Product data will no longer be synchronized between the two platforms.

  • Your product details, reports, customer data, and invoices will remain unaffected.

3️- If I reinstall the Zid app, will orders placed during the uninstallation period sync to Rewaa?

  • Orders will only sync to Rewaa if the integration is active and functional.

  • Orders placed on Zid before linking it to Rewaa or during the uninstallation period will NOT be synced, even if you reinstall the app later.

    ⚠️ When you disconnect the integration, sales made on Zid will NOT reflect on Rewaa. When you reconnect the platforms, stock levels will be synced based on the quantities in Rewaa.

4️- Can I resolve order errors from before the uninstallation?

  • You can fix order errors ONLY if the Zid app is installed and actively linked.

  • If you uninstall the app (disconnect the platforms), you will not be able to fix any order errors.

5️- After uninstalling the Zid app, will I still have access to past orders received on Rewaa?

Yes, past orders will remain available on Rewaa.

  • Navigate to Sales & Customers > E-commerce Orders to view them.

  • However, you will NOT be able to fix any issues unless you reinstall the app.

6️- How can I check my previous Zid sales after uninstalling the app?

You can review past sales by checking invoices issued on Rewaa:

  • Go to Reports > Sales > Sales by Sales Channel.

  • In the Channel Name field, select Zid to filter sales specific to Zid.
