When managing product data in Rewaa, which is linked to online store platforms such as Salla and Zid, you may sometimes need to delete a product. Rewaa allows you to delete products from inventory, but it is important to understand how this deletion affects product linking in the online store.

Viewing Products in Rewaa and the Online Store

To check products available in Rewaa’s inventory, go to:

  • Products & Inventory > Products Section

  • All products added to Rewaa’s inventory will be displayed.

To check products available in the online store, go to:

  • Applications > My Apps > Product Management

  • You will see all products listed in the online store.

Impact of Deleting a Product

Deleting a Product in Rewaa

  • If you delete a simple product, variable product, weighted product, or service product from Rewaa, it will only be deleted from Rewaa’s inventory.

  • The product status in Product Management will change to "Not Found".

ℹ️ If an order is received from the online store that contains a product deleted from Rewaa, the product will be automatically re-added and re-linked in Rewaa.

ℹ️ If you delete a variable product from Rewaa, all its variants will also be deleted, and their status in Product Management will change to "Not Found."

Deleting a Product in the Online Store

  • If you delete a simple product, variable product, weighted product, or service product from the online store, it will only be deleted from the online store. The product will remain in Rewaa.

ℹ️ Deleting a product from the online store means you will no longer receive any orders containing this product, as it will no longer be available.

ℹ️ If you delete a single variant from a variable product in the online store, orders for that variant will no longer be received, but orders for other variants will still be accepted.

ℹ️ If you search for a product that was previously deleted from the online store in Product Management, it will no longer appear because it has been removed from the store.


FAQs

1️- Can I delete a product from Rewaa if there are pending orders containing this product?

No. If a product with an active order is deleted from Rewaa, a message will appear stating that the product cannot be deleted.

To proceed, click View Orders to complete or cancel all orders linked to the product before deletion.

2️- I have a linked product, but I want to temporarily disable syncing between the two platforms without deleting the product or changing its SKU. Is this possible?

Yes, you can temporarily disable syncing by following these steps:

  1. Go to Apps > My Apps.

  2. Search for the product by name or SKU.

  3. Click Unlink.

  • This will disable quantity synchronization between the two platforms.

ℹ️ If an order contains an unlinked product, the order will still be processed, but the product will be marked as pending. You can later re-link the product by clicking Link to resume quantity synchronization.

ℹ️ Rewaa’s inventory will always be used as the quantity reference.

  • If sufficient stock is unavailable when re-linking the product, the error message will change from "Unlinked Product" to "Insufficient Quantity."
