Adding products in Rewaa is one of the essential steps to start sales operations, issue invoices, track inventory, and more. In this article, you’ll learn about the available product types in the platform.
Main Product Types
Simple Product: A product with a single type, e.g., pen, blueberry juice.
Variable Product: A product that has more than one description or option, e.g., 150ml glass cup, 200ml glass cup.
Composite Product: A product that contains multiple products but is offered to the customer as one final product, e.g., flower bouquet or meal in a restaurant.
Sub Product Types
After selecting the main product type, you can specify the sub product type.
Pack Product: A product sold in pieces and cartons.
Weighted Product: A product sold by weight.
Batch-Tracked Product: A product with an expiration date, e.g., medicines.
Serial-Tracked Product: A product with a unique serial number that cannot be duplicated, e.g., electronics and mobile phones.
Services: You can disable stock management for service-type products, e.g., flower arrangement service, laundry service.

It depends on the system you’re using and how it exports product data. Contact us via live chat inside the platform or WhatsApp, and we’ll assist you with importing them into Rewaa.
3. Can I set user permissions to access products and inventory?
Yes, you can:
Go to Settings > Users > ⚙️ > User.
Go to the Products section.
From Products List and Product Details, select the appropriate permissions.
Click Save Custom User.
