Adding Product Images

Adding product images in your inventory allows these images to appear on the cashier's interface, making it easier to identify products visually. You can add images for all types of products, including Simple products, composite products, digital products, services, and weighted products.

Steps to Add Product Images

For Simple Products, Composite Products, Digital Products, Services, and Weighted Products

  • Access Product Settings:

    • Go to Products & Inventory > Products.

  • Click on the three dots in the Actions column and select Edit Product.

  • Upload Product Images:

    • Locate the image upload section.

    • Click Search for Images to upload product images from your device, or drag and drop the images into the designated area.

  • Set the Main Image:

    • Mark the image you want as the main image with a . This image will appear on the cashier's interface.

  • Save Changes:

    • Click Save to apply your changes.

  • The image will now appear on the product in the inventory and on the cashier's screen.

For Variable Products, Pack Products, and Products with Extra Options

  • Upload All Images:

    • Upload all available images for the product or its options by clicking Search for Images or dragging and dropping them into the designated area.

  • Set the Main Image:

    • Select the main image for the product by marking it with a . This image will appear on the cashier's screen.

  • Assign Images to Variants:

    • To assign an image for each variant, go to the product details, click on the designated image field in front of the product details.

  • Click on the appropriate product image, and it will be added directly to the product.

  • Repeat the step for the remaining variants to add an image for each one.

  • Save Changes:

    • Click Save to ensure the images are added and assigned correctly.


FAQs

1. Can I delete a product image after adding it?
Yes, select the image you want to delete, mark it with a ✔, and click Delete.

2. For variable products, do images for each variant appear separately on the cashier's screen?
Unfortunately, this is not currently supported. Only the main product image appears on the cashier's screen.

3. What does "Assign as Main Image" mean?
It designates the selected image to appear on the product in the cashier's interface.

4. Can product images be printed on invoices?
No, product images are only visible in the inventory and cashier's screen but cannot be printed on invoices.

5. Do product images transfer to integrated platforms (e.g., Salla, Zid)?
No, product images are stored exclusively on Rewaa and do not transfer to other platforms.

6. Are images included when exporting product data to an Excel file?

No, exported Excel files only include textual data. Product images are not included.
