Adding your company information on Rewaa ensures accurate and compliant display of data on invoices, aligning with the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority requirements. This reflects professionalism and strengthens your business identity in client transactions. Below are the steps for adding your company details effortlessly.

Steps to Add Company Information

  • Access the Settings:

    • Go to Settings > Company Overview.

Fill in the Required Details:

  • Company Logo:

ℹ️ Adding your company logo to invoices enhances your brand identity and differentiates your invoices from others.

  • Click the icon under Company Logo.

  • Select the logo file and click Open. The logo will appear in the designated area.

  • Company Name:

    • Defaulted to the name entered during registration; you can edit it.

ℹ️ The company name is a required field for e-invoicing. Once added, it will appear directly on the invoice.

  • Tax Number (if available):

    • A 15-digit number issued upon VAT or Excise Tax registration. It always starts and ends with the digit 3 (e.g., 301121971500003).

  • Email Address:

    • This is the primary email used to register on the platform. It holds full account privileges and is linked to your subscription activation. The email cannot be changed. If a change is necessary, please contact customer support via live chat on the platform or through WhatsApp to learn about the required steps and procedures.

  • Phone Number:

    • The registered mobile number of the primary account user or business owner.

  • Website (if available):

  • Business Type:

    • Select from the dropdown list.

  • Company Address:

    • Add the main branch address as per the national address.

  • Commercial Registration Number:

    • Mandatory for B2B invoices under e-invoicing Phase 2.

  • Save Changes:

    • Once all details are filled in, click Save Changes.

Displaying Company Information on Invoices

  • Automatic Fields on Invoices:

    • Company Name

    • Tax Number

    • Commercial Registration Number (mandatory for B2B invoices).

  • Optional Fields You Can Enable:

    • Company Logo

    • Commercial Registration Number for simplified tax invoices.

Steps to Add Optional Fields:

  • Go to Sales & Customer > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts.

  • Check Company Logo and Commercial Number.

  • Scroll to the bottom and click Save.

  • Adding Address on Invoices:

    • Go to Settings > Locations > ⚙️> Edit Location.

  • Add address details under Location Address.

  • Save changes to reflect on new invoices.

1. What if I don’t have a tax number yet?

Leave it blank and add it later once registered.

2. I added the VAT number/commercial registration, but it does not appear on the invoice?

Ensure that the details are entered correctly and click Save Changes. Then, try again by issuing a new invoice.

3. Does the tax number appear on both sales and purchase invoices?

Yes, it will appear on all invoice types.

4. Will the website or mobile number appear on the invoice?

No, these details do not appear on the invoice. If you need to include them, you can manually add them in the Notes section of the invoice. Click here for more details.

5. Can I change the company logo?

Click on the existing logo, upload a new one, and save changes.

6. What formats are supported for the logo?

Supported formats are JPEG, JPG, PNG, SVG.

7. Can I adjust the logo size?

No, the logo size cannot be adjusted within the platform. Try resizing the logo before uploading it.

8. Does the logo appear on all invoices and quotes?

Yes, the logo will be included on all invoices and quotes.

9. Can I delete the company logo?

The logo cannot be deleted after being added, but you can hide it from the invoice by unchecking the logo option under Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts. Then, click Save at the bottom of the page.

10. Can I change the position of the logo, company name, or tax number on the invoice?

Unfortunately, the invoice layout and design are fixed on the platform and cannot be modified.

11. Can I customize the logo to appear only on specific sales invoices?

The logo will appear on all sales invoices. If you need to remove the logo from a specific invoice, follow these steps:

Go to:

  • Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts.

  • Uncheck the Company Logo option and click Save.

  • Issue the invoice from the sales register; it will be generated without the logo.

  • Return to Sales Receipts Settings, reselect Company Logo, and click Save. The logo will reappear on future sales invoices.

12. Does the logo appear on receipt and payment vouchers?

Currently, the logo does not appear on receipt or payment vouchers. This feature will be added in future updates.

13. If I update the business name, tax number, or commercial registration, will it change on previous invoices?

No, previously issued invoices will remain unchanged. The updates will only reflect on new invoices issued after making the modifications.

14. How can I correct errors in tax or registration numbers on issued invoices?

15. Will the commercial registration number appear on issued invoices if I add it later?

The commercial registration number will only appear on new invoices issued after adding it. It is a crucial detail that should be included in the company information before issuing invoices.

16. Can I control the visibility of the commercial registration number on invoices?

Yes, you can control its visibility depending on the invoice type:

  • Tax Invoices (B2B): The commercial registration number appears automatically and cannot be hidden.

  • Simplified Tax Invoices (B2C): You can hide the commercial registration number by navigating to:

  • Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts, unchecking the "Commercial Number" option, and clicking "Save."

17. Can I preview invoices after adding company details?

Yes, go to Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts to preview.
