Stock Count Interface

Once Stock counts are completed and recorded on the platform, you can revisit them anytime to review the details of each operation.

Accessing Stock Count Details

  • Navigate to: Products & Inventory > Stock Count.

You can perform the following actions in the stock count interface:

1. Search by Name or Number

Search for a specific stock count by entering the count name or number in the search field.

2. Customize Columns to Display Data

  • Click Customize Columns.

  • Check (✔) the boxes for the data you wish to display. Selected data will appear in the table.

3. View Stock Count Status

  • Completed: The count is finalized, and quantities are updated in the Products section.

  • In Progress: The count is ongoing. Quantities will not update in the Products section until the count is completed.

4. Print Stock Count

  • To print a completed count:

    • Click the Print (🖨️) icon.

  • Select your printer.

  • Click Print.

5. Export Stock Count to Excel

  • Export each stock count individually.

  • Search for the count name or number, and click to view its details.

  • Click Export Products to download the stock count as an Excel file.


FAQ

1. Can a stock count be edited?
Once a stock count is added, it cannot be edited. If errors exist, conduct a new stock count to correct the quantities.

2. Can I view incomplete stock counts?
Yes, use the filter option in the count status column:

  • Select In Progress from the filter menu.

  • Click Apply to display all incomplete counts.

3. Can I identify the user who performed the stock count?
Yes:

  • Click Custom Columns and check (✔) the Created By option.

  • A column will display the user's name.

  • Alternatively, view the details of the stock count to see the user's name.

4. Can user permissions be set for stock counts?
Yes, Go to

  • Settings > Users > Click (⚙️) > Edit User.

  • Navigate to User Permissions and click the arrow next to Purchases & Suppliers> Stock Count List, and Stock Count Detail

  • Enable permissions based on the user's tasks.

  • Cost View Permissions:

    • Disabling View Cost in the stock count list will hide costs in the list and printed counts.

  • Disabling View Cost in stock count details will hide costs in the details view and when adding a new count.

  • To completely restrict cost visibility, disable View Cost in both the list and details permissions.

  • Click Save Custom User to apply the changes.
