Pausing a sales transaction allows you to temporarily save a sales invoice with the option to resume and complete it later. This feature is particularly useful when the customer needs extra time to review their order, add more products, or resolve payment issues. It also enables handling transactions with other customers while keeping the current transaction pending. Rewaa provides this functionality directly through the sales screen.

Pausing a Sales Transaction

  • Access the Sales Screen:

    • Navigate to Sales and Customers > POS > Open Sales Register.

  • Add Products:

    • Add the desired products to the sales screen.

  • Pause the Transaction:

    • Click on Pause Sales.

  • Enter the customer name (optional but recommended).

  • Add notes if necessary (optional).

  • Click Pause Sales.

  • The transaction is saved and removed from the sales screen, allowing you to process other invoices.

Resuming a Paused Sales Transaction

  • Access Paused Transactions:

    • Click on Continue Sales.

    • A list of all paused transactions will appear.

  • Select the Transaction:

    • Choose the desired transaction to resume.

    • Add or remove products if needed.

    • Complete the sales transaction and issue the invoice.

  1. Can I pause multiple invoices simultaneously?

    • Yes, you can pause up to 50 invoices. All paused transactions will appear in the same list.

  2. Can I retrieve paused transactions if deleted by mistake?

    • No, paused transactions cannot be retrieved once deleted. You will need to recreate and pause the transaction again.

  3. Will paused invoices be deleted when the sales register is closed?

    • No, paused invoices are not deleted upon closing the sales register. However, they are stored temporarily on the device's cache memory and can only be resumed from the same device.

  4. How long are paused invoices stored?

    • Paused invoices are stored for 7 days. They will be deleted automatically if the cache memory is cleared.

  5. Can I resume a paused transaction from another device?

    • No, paused transactions are stored locally on the device’s cache memory. You must use the same device to resume the transaction.

  6. Can I delete a paused transaction I no longer need?

    • Yes, click the 🗑️ icon next to the paused transaction to delete it.

  7. Can I modify products in a paused transaction?

    • Yes, you can add or remove products in a paused transaction before completing the invoice.
